Every figure is sourced

Every number on this site links to where it came from — a primary source wherever one exists. If a figure can't be sourced, it doesn't get published. That's the whole rule, and it's the one that decides what makes it onto a page and what gets cut.

Scope is labeled next to the number

Numbers get their scope stated right beside them. When a figure is for all of YouTube rather than faceless channels specifically, or is a vendor's estimate rather than a measured fact, it's labeled as such — a green marker for a published fact, a gold one for an estimate — so you never have to guess how solid a number is.

The whole distribution, not just the top end

Where the data allows it, I show the median and the full spread, not a flattering average. The honest shape of these income models — most people earn very little, a small number earn a lot — is the point, not a footnote. An average that hides that shape is worse than no number at all.

Affiliate links never change a number

Some links to tools are affiliate links, and they're disclosed as such. A commission never changes a recommendation, the order things appear in, or any figure on the page. The full policy and the list of programs are on the affiliate disclosure page.

Non-practitioner disclosure

I have not run a faceless YouTube channel, a TikTok Shop, or a print-on-demand store. I don't sell a course and I'm not going to tell you I got rich doing any of this. What I do is read the primary sources, check the math, label the scope, and report what the numbers actually say — including when the answer is that most people earn almost nothing. Corrections

If I get something wrong, I fix it and date the change. The figures here depend on sources that shift — prices, platform rules, and studies all move — so if you spot an error, tell me and I'll correct it and note the update on the page.

What this site will never do

• Promise you'll earn any particular amount.
• Publish a figure it can't source.
• Use fake testimonials or invented case studies.
• Let a commission change a recommendation or a number.
